MANGO KHEER Recipe|Renu dalal

INGREDIENTS

  • ¼ Cup Rice (soak 2-3 hours)
  • 3 ½ Cups Milk
  • ½ Cup Mango Puree
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • ¼ tsp Cardamom powder
  • 5-6 kesar strands (soaked in hot milk)
  • ½ cup chopped mango

For garnish

  • Chopped pistachios

METHOD

  1. In a pan boil milk.
  2. Once boiled add in soaked rice and let it cook for 7-10 minutes. Keep stirring.
  3. Once rice is cooked, add in sugar, cardamom powder, kesar and cook for a minute.
  4. Switch off the flame, add mango puree and chopped mango.
  5. Mix well and serve chilled.
