RAW MANGO CHUNDA
Chunda is a very well-known Gujarati sweet and sour pickle made with grated raw mangoes. Raw mangoes are grated and combined with sugar and chili powder to make this easy and delicious Indian pickle. This is a great accompaniment to so many things. It transforms any ordinary meal into something special. It adds just the right hint of sweetness, sourness, and spiciness to the meals. Gujaratis, love when you serve with Poori, Methi Thepla or Plain Gujarati Thepla. This is a quick and easy recipe, do make it and let us know how you like it!

2 Cup
INGREDIENTS
2 Cups Grated Peeled Raw Mangoes
A Pinch of turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Other ingredients
½ cup sugar
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp roasted jeera powder
METHOD
For the base
In a bowl mix together raw mangoes, turmeric, and salt.
Rest it for 5-10 minutes.
In a pan add raw mangoes and sugar. Mix well and let it boil. Stir till you get a string consistency.
Once boiled immediately transfer to a bowl and place this bowl in an ice bath.(ice + water in a bigger bowl)
How to proceed
Once cooled add in jeera powder, red chilli powder and mix well.
Store in an airtight container and use at your convenience
