Spaghetti aglio olio

The all time Italian classic, one of my favourites.

  • Preparation time: 20 minutes
  • Cooking time: 10 minutes
  • Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 3 cups boiled spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 clove grated garlic
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 3 tbsp parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp parsley
  • Salt and chilli flakes to taste

Method

  1. In a non-stick vessel heat the olive oil, add the garlic, oregano and saute for ½ minute.
  2. Add the spaghetti, parmesan cheese, parsley, salt and chilli flakes to taste and saute for 2 minutes.

 

To serve

  1. Serve hot with garlic bread.
