BAJRA PULAO Recipe|Renu dalal

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ½ Cup Boiled Bajra Seeds (Millets)
  • ½ Cup Chopped Onion
  • ½ Cup Chopped Tomato
  • ¼ Cup Chopped French beans (Boiled)
  • ¼ Cup Chopped Carrot (Boiled)
  • ½ Cup Boiled Green Peas
  • 3 Garlic Cloves Chopped
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • ¼ tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • ¼ tsp Coriander Powder
  • ¼ tsp Garam Masala
  • ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
  • Pinch of hing
  • 1 Bayleaf
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt to taste

METHOD

  1. In a pan heat oil, add cumin seeds and hing.
  2. Add in the bay leaf, chopped garlic and saute for ½ a minute.
  3. Add in the chopped onions and tomatoes. Saute for 1 minute.
  4. Add in the boiled vegetables and salt. Cook for a minute.
  5. Mix in turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala.
  6. Add in the boiled millets and mix well. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve hot.
