BOILED PEANUTS SALAD / STARTER

This is an amazing snack recipe for all peanut lovers. You can serve this in parties or just have as a snack. Made from whole peanuts (mungfali/ Kaccha singdana) made from such simple ingredients
but tastes very good. The boiled peanuts taste simply amazing just as is it us. Mix in with tomatoes and onions and you won’t stop eating them! Do try this recipe and let us know if you like it!

BOILED PEANUTS Recipe|Renu dalal

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ Cup Whole Peanuts
  • 2 tbsp chopped onions
  • ¼ Cup Chopped Tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Coriander
  • ½ tsp Chaat masala
  • ½ tsp Lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • Salt to taste

METHOD

  1. In a pressure cooker, cook the peanuts with 1 Cup Water till 2 whistles
  2. Remove the outer covering / skin from the whole peanuts.
  3. Once cooked strain them and let it cool down. Refrigerate.
  4. In a bowl, add in tomatoes, onions, coriander, lemon juice, chaat Masala, red chilli powder and boiled peanuts.
  5. Add salt to taste and mix well.
  6. Serve immediately.
