MATAR PANEER
Great for your daily meal. All time favourite!
A quick recipe to make a great dish for lunch or dinner. You can have it with naan, rice and kaali dal. A lovely combination of green peas and paneer with a lovely punabi gravy. Can be made in a jiffy and is very healthy too. Peas contain heart-friendly minerals including magnesium, potassium and calcium and are also rich in antioxidant nutrients like vitamin C. make this loevly vegetable and enjoy.

INGREDIENTS
250 grams paneer cut into squares
1 cup boiled green peas
For the paste
½ chopped onion
½ chopped tomato
1 tbsp chopped ginger
1 tbsp chopped garlic
12 cashews
1 inch cinnamon
1 clove
2 tbsp water
Other ingredients
1 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 tbsp garam masala
½ tbsp turmeric powder
METHOD
For the paste
Process all the items together in a food processor. A paste will be formed.
How to proceed
In a vessel heat the oil, add the jeera, garam masala, and turmeric powder, saute for 15 seconds.
Add the paste and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Add the green peas, paneer, ½ cup water and cook for 2 minutes.
Serve hot with naan and paratha.
