who doesn’t love these ladoos, they are so light and even healthy! They are extremely delicious and super easy to make too. Made from roasted puffed rice and jaggery and so they are very light and airy. The jaggery gives out that perfect sweetness to balance out the crunch! Do try it and let us know how you like it.

MURMURA (PUFFED RICE) LADOO Recipe|Renu dalal

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups murmura (puffed rice)
  • ½ tbsp ghee
  • ½ tsp cardamon powder
  • ¾ cup jaggery (gur)

METHOD

  1. In a vessel roast the murmura till they become crisp. Keep aside.

How to proceed

  1. Heat the ghee in a vessel, add the jaggery, mix well for 3 to 4 minutes. The syrup should turn glossy and thicken.
  2. Switch off the gas.
  3. Add the murmuras and mix well.
  4. Wet your hands with water, form small rounds with the mixture.
  5. Allow the ladoo to cool and store in an air tight container.
