PEPPER BUTTER TOAST

This butter toast, topped with roasted pepper is a great start to the day. Popular in Nothern India. You can use white bread or brown bread. The pepper powder can be stored and used at your convenience.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Bread Slices  
  • 1 tbsp Butter

Pepper powder

  • ½ tsp Rock Salt
  • 1 tbsp Peppercorns

METHOD

For the pepper powder

  1. In a non stick pan, dry roast the peppercorns and rock salt for 2 minutes on a low flame.Keep stirring.
  2. Let it cool and then crush the mixture using a blender into fine powder.
  3. you can store the powder and use at your conveience.

How to proceed

  1. In a toaster, toast the bread slices until they are crisp.  
  2. Spread butter on the toasted bread slices.  
  3. Sprinkle the pepper mix on top and the toast and serve with hot
