PRALINE

It is made from 4 ingredients. Can be used for any dessert. Can be had with ice cream. this is one of our favourite recipes of all time! Praline is so very universal can be used in cakes, ice creams or any other desserts and can be had as it is! The caramel gives out the perfect sweetness which goes so well with the cashew nuts, the crunchy texture is like a cherry on top. Do try it and pair with your favourite desserts

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • ½ cup cashew nuts.
  • 2 tbsp water

METHOD

For the cashew nuts

  1. Place in a mixer for a short period of time till you get a coarse powder(Do not overgrind.)

How to proceed

  1. In a nonstick vessel add the sugar, water, and stir.
  2. When it becomes brown in color add the butter and stir.
  3. When the butter melts add the cashew nuts and stir till you get a thick consistency.
  4. Remove the mixture and spread it on butter paper.
  5. When it cools, take a hand grinder and break into pieces.
  6. Store in a jar and use for cakes and icecreams.
