INGREDIENTS

    • ½ cup chopped coriander
    • 1 tbsp chopped mint leaves
    • 1 tsp ginger chilli paste
    • 1 ½ cups besan
    • 2 tbsp rava
    • 1 tbsp oil
    • ¼ tsp hing
    • 1 tbsp sugar
    • ½ cup warm water
    • 1/4 tsp sesame seeds
    • 1/4 tsp ajjwain
    • 1/2 tsp jeera
    • Salt to taste

    For tempering

    • 2 tsp oil
    • ¼ tsp Mustard seeds
    • ¼ tsp Cumin seeds
    • 3-4 Curry Leaves
    • Pinch of hing
    • ½ tsp sesame seeds

METHOD

    For Muthiyas

    1. In a plate mix all the ingredients together to make a dough.
    2. Make cylindrical muthiya log of the mixture and place them in a steamer.
    3. Steam for 8 to 10 minutes till done.
    4. Remove from the steamer and allow to cool.
    5. Cut into round muthiya slices.

    How to proceed

    1. Heat the oil add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves and hing.
    2. Saute the muthiyas on both sides till they turn brown in colour.
