INGREDIENTS

    • 2 1/2 Cups full-fat milk
    • 1 tbsp long grain rice (basmati rice)
    • 1 tbsp ghee
    • 1 tbsp almond slivers
    • 1 tbsp pistachio

    Mix together

    • 1/2 cup milk powder
    • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
    • 1/2 cup warm milk
    • 1/2 tsp kesar
    • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
    • 1/4 tsp nutmeg powder

METHOD

    For the rice

    1. Soak the rice for 30 minutes.

    How to proceed

    1. In a bowl mix together powdered sugar, milk powder, kesar, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder and warm milk. Set aside.
    2. In a pan heat ghee, sauté rice, pistachio, almond and add in milk.
    3. Let it boil for 7-10 minutes.
    4. Add in the milk powder mixture and mix well.
    5. Boil this for another 3-4 minutes, keep stirring.
    6. Let this chill in a container in the refrigerator and serve chilled.
