INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup masoor dal
- 2 tsp oil
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- ½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- ½ tsp chaat masala
- ½ tsp amchur powder
- ½ tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste

METHOD
- In a bowl mix together all the masalas.
- Blen the masoor dal into a fine powder.
- Sieve the powder to get a finer texture.
- In a plate mix together crushed masoor dal, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, sesame seeds, oil and salt to taste.
- Knead a soft dough.
- Divide the dough and roll out sheets as thin as possible.
- With a fork, poke holes on the rolled dough.
- With a knife, cut into diamond shaped chips.
- Heat oil for frying and deep fry them.
- Remove the chips when done and press on absorbent paper to remove the exceess oil.
- As soon as their done sprinkle the masala mixture immediately on the chips.
- Store in an air tight container.
