Moong Khakhra | Healthy Moong Dal Khakhra | Crispy Gujarati Snack | Protein Rich Khakhra — recipe by Renu Dalal

INGREDIENTS

    • ½ cup moong flour
    • 1 tsp sesame seeds
    • 1/2 tsp jeera
    • Salt to taste
    • ½ tsp oil
    • Hot water to knead a dough

METHOD

    1. In a plate mix all the ingredients together to make a soft dough.
    2. Roll out flat rotis and with a cookie cutter cut out mini circles.
    3. Once done, roast these mini khakhras in a khakhra machine.
    4. Roast nicely with some oil and let it become crispy.
    5. Cool them down and serve.

Chef's Note from Renu Dalal:

Cook khakhra on low flame while pressing gently to ensure even roasting and extra crispness.
