INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup dried White peas (soaked)
- 1/4 Cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup Tomato puree
- 2 tbsp Imli puree
- 1/4 tsp hing
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Garlic ginger paste
- 1 tsp garam masla
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- ¼ cup chopped coriander
- ¼ cup water
- 1 tbsp oil
- Imli chutney
- Chopped onions
- Chopped coriander
- Sev
- Chaat masala
- Curd
For the Ragda
To Serve
METHOD
- In a pressure cooker add white peas and water.
- Cook for 4-5 whistles until well done.
- In a pan heat oil and sauté hing, jeera and ginger garlic paste.
- Add in tomato puree, onions, salt to taste, red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder and cook for a minute.
- Add in boiled white peas along with water.
- With a masher, gently mash the ragda.
- Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
- Finish by adding coriander.
- In a plate break the samosa and top up with some hot ragda.
- Add on curd, imli chutney, chopped onions, sev, coriander and chaat masala.
- Serve immediately.
