INGREDIENTS

    • ¾ cup Sesame seeds
    • ½ tablespoon Ghee
    • 3 tbsp Jaggery (Gur)

METHOD

    1. In a pan dry roast Sesame seeds until fragrant
    2. Once done, remove and let it cool down.
    3. Blend into a coarse powder and set aside.
    4. In a different pan melt Ghee and add Jaggery in it.
    5. Let the Jaggery melt and add in the powdered Sesame seeds.
    6. Cook for a minute and transfer to a plate to cool down a bit.
    7. If needed, you can add some water or milk for binding.
    8. Grease Modak moulds with some Ghee and fill the cavities with the mixture
    9. Let it set for 5 minutes and then demould the Modaks.
    10. They are ready to serve, store in an air tight container and enjoy.
