Chawli Ki Sabzi

INGREDIENTS

    • 2 cup chopped Chawli (Long beans / green beans)
    • ½ cup chopped onion
    • ½ cup chopped tomato
    • ½ tsp grated  garlic
    • ¼ cup desiccated coconut
    • 1 tbsp chopped coriander
    • ½ tsp red chilli powder
    • ½ tsp turmeric powder
    • ¼ tsp garam masala
    • ½ tsp cumin seeds
    • 1 tbsp coriander powder
    • 2 tsp oil
    • Pinch Hing
    • Salt to taste

METHOD

    1. In a pan heat oil and sauté hing, jeera and grated garlic.
    2. Mix in chopped onions, tomatoes and salt to taste.
    3. Add in green beans, cover and cook for 3-5 minutes.
    4. Once done, mix in coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala.
    5. Mix well and finish by adding coriander and desiccated coconut.
    6. Serve hot.
