INGREDIENTS
- ½ Cup Chawli Beans
- 1 ½ Cup Water
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp oil
- ½ tsp ginger garlic paste
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- ¼ cup chopped tomato
- ½ cup tomato puree thick
- ½ tsp kashmrii red chilli powder
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp coriander powder
- ¼ tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
Other Ingredients
Pinch of hing
Salt to taste
METHOD
- In a pressure cooker add water, soaked chawli and salt to taste.
- Pressure cook for 3 whistles.
- Once cooked strain and keep them aside.
- In a pan heat oil and saute cumin seeds, hing, ginger garlic paste.
- Add in onions, tomato, tomato puree, Salt to taste and cook for a minute.
- Add in coriander powder, turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala and mix well
- Mix in the boiled chawli, coriander. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
- Serve hot.
