INGREDIENTS
- 1 ½ Cup Sliced Tindora (Ivy Gourd)
- 2 tbsp dessicated coconut
- 2 tbsp finely chopped onions
- 2 tbsp finely chopped tomatoes
- ½ Cup water
- 4-5 curry leaves
- ¼ tsp garlic paste
- 1 tbsp oil
- ¼ tsp cumin seeds
- ¼ tsp mustard seeds
- ¼ tsp hing
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1 dried kashmiri red chilly
- ½ teaspoon coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- ½ tsp garam masala
- ¼ tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander
METHOD
- Heat oil in a pan and saute cumin seeds, mustard seeds, hing, garlic, curry leaves and dried red chilli.
- Mix in onions, tomatoes and salt to taste. Cook for 30 seconds.
- Add in sliced Ivy gourd and water. Cover and let it cook for 7-8 minutes or until done.
- Once cooked, add in red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, lemon juice, coconut and coriander.
- Mix well and cook for a minute.
- Serve hot.
