INGREDIENTS
- 1/3 Cup Rolled Oats (Soak in ¼ cup water for 15 minutes)
- 1/3 Cup Rice
- 2 tbsp Urad Dal
- ½ tsp methi seeds
- 1 tbsp poha
- Salt to taste
- ¼ Cup chopped onions
- 1 tbsp podi masala
- ½ tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander

METHOD
- Soak rice, urad dal, methi seeds and poha together in water overnight.
- Soak oats in ¼ cup water for 15 minutes.
- Once everything is soaked strain and blend all together into a smooth batter by adding ½ cup water.
- Cover and let the batter sit for an hour.
- Add in salt to taste in the batter right before making the uttappam.
- Heat a pan, with the help of oil make uttappams using this batter. You can make small or big uttapams as per your preference
- Top up with chopped onions, podi masala and coriander.
- Brush some oil, flip and cook on both sides.
- Serve hot with green chutney.
