INGREDIENTS

    • ½ cup Rice
    • 1 tbsp oil
    • ½ tsp cumin seeds
    • 2 tsp grated garlic
    • ½ cup chopped onion
    • ¼ cup chopped tomato
    • ¼ cup chopped potato
    • ¼ cup chopped carrot
    • ¼ cup chopped french beans
    • ¼ cup cauliflower florets
    • ½ tsp turmeric powder
    • ½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
    • Salt to taste

METHOD

    1. In a pressure cooker, heat oil and saute cumin seeds and garlic.
    2. Add in chopped onions, tomatoes and salt to taste.
    3. Cool for a minute and add in carrots, potato, french beans, cauliflower.
    4. Mix in turmeric powder and red chilli powder.
    5. Mix well and pressure cook for about 2 whistles.
    6. Serve hot with curds or kadhi
