INGREDIENTS
- 500gms Surti Papdi (String them)
- 5-6 Methi Muthiyas
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 1/2 cup Water
- 2 cups chopped coriander
- 1 tsp asofetida (hing)
- 1 tbsp Ginger paste
- 1/2 tsp Soda bi carb
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- ½ cup water
For the coriander paste
METHOD
- Blend the coriander and water together in a blender to make a paste.
- Transfer to a bowl and mix in ginger paste, soda, salt, sugar and hing. Mix together well.
- Toss in the papdi and mix it together to coat evenly.
- Heat oil in a pan and add the papdi along with the paste.
- Add in the water. Cover and let it cook for 6-8 minutes.
- Once cooked well, toss in the methi muthiyas. Let it cook for another 2 minutes.
- Serve hot with puris and kadhi
