INGREDIENTS

    • ¼ cup chana dal
    • ¼ cup urad dal
    • ¼ cup toor dal
    • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
    • ¼ cup grated fresh coconut
    • 4 garlic cloves
    • 2 tbsp peanuts
    • 3 Kashmiri red chillies
    • 1 tbsp Kashmiri Red chilli powder
    • ½ tsp turmeric powder
    • 5-6 curry leaves
    • Salt to taste

METHOD

    1. In a pan roasted together chana dal, urad dal and tuvar dal until nicely done.
    2. Once you get a toasty aroma add in the sesame seeds and peanuts.
    3. Toast for a minute and transfer to a plate.
    4. In the same pan roast together grated coconut, garlic, red chillies and curry leaves.
    5. Transfer to the plate Once done.
    6. In a blender jar add the dal and coconut mixture along with red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste.
    7. Blend until you get a fine powder.
    8. Remove and store in a air tight container in the deep freezer and use at your convenience.
