INGREDIENTS
- ¼ cup chana dal
- ¼ cup urad dal
- ¼ cup toor dal
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- ¼ cup grated fresh coconut
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp peanuts
- 3 Kashmiri red chillies
- 1 tbsp Kashmiri Red chilli powder
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 5-6 curry leaves
- Salt to taste
METHOD
- In a pan roasted together chana dal, urad dal and tuvar dal until nicely done.
- Once you get a toasty aroma add in the sesame seeds and peanuts.
- Toast for a minute and transfer to a plate.
- In the same pan roast together grated coconut, garlic, red chillies and curry leaves.
- Transfer to the plate Once done.
- In a blender jar add the dal and coconut mixture along with red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste.
- Blend until you get a fine powder.
- Remove and store in a air tight container in the deep freezer and use at your convenience.
