INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup dried White peas
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 Cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped tomato
- 2 tbsp Imli puree
- 1/4 tsp hing
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Garlic ginger paste
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp garam masla
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- ¼ cup chopped coriander
- 1 cup boiled potato
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- ½ tsp sugar
- ½ tsp ginger green chilly paste
- ¼ tsp turmeric
- Pinch hing
- ½ tsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Oil to make the patties
- Imli chutney
- Chopped onions
- Chopped coriander
- Sev
- Chaat masala

METHOD
- In a pressure cooker add white peas and water.
- Cook for 4-5 whistles until well done.
- In a pan heat oil and sauté hing, jeera and ginger garlic paste.
- Add in chopped tomato, onions, salt to taste, red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder and cook for a minute.
- Add in boiled white peas along with water.
- With a masher, gently mash the raga.
- Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
- Finish by adding coriander.
- Mix all the ingredients together to make a dough.
- Divide into 6 equal portions and roast on a pan with oil.
- Flip and cook on both the sides until golden brown.
- Place the pattice in a plate and top it up with hot ragda.
- Add on imli chutney, chaat masala, sev, coriander and chopped onions.
- Serve immediately.
