RAGI CHOCOLATE CAKE(NACHNI)

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup ragi flour
- ½ cup jaggery sugar
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup curd
- 1/2 cup oil
- ½ tsp vanilla essence
- ¾ tsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp jaggery sugar
- ¼ cup water
- Chocolate sauce

METHOD
- In a bowl whisk together curd and baking soda, baking powder. The mixture with start to fluffy up, then whisk in oil, milk and jaggery sugar.
- Now add in vanilla essence, cocoa powder and ragi flour. Mix the batter well, there should be no lumps.
- Grease a 6” cake tin with butter, pour in the batter.
- Bake the cake for 10 minutes at 180°C in a preheated oven or till the toothpick comes out clean.
- Once baked, let it cool down for 10 minutes, demold the cake.
- In a pan mix together jaggery sugar and water. Mix until the sugar melts.
- Add this sugar water on the cake to moisten it.
- Cover with chocolate sauce.
- Decorate with strawberries
- Refrigerate and serve cold
