Sama Khichdi (banyard millet)/ Moraiyo

When it comes to fasting, a meal that is light on the stomach yet nourishing is essential. This Sama Khichdi, made from barnyard millet (sama), is the perfect choice. Packed with fiber, protein, and essential nutrients, it provides sustained energy while being easy to digest. Slow-cooked with mild spices, roasted peanuts, and tempered with ghee, this dish brings out a comforting, nutty aroma and a subtly rich flavor. The soft texture melts in the mouth, making it an ideal vrat-friendly alternative to rice-based khichdi.
