ROASTED CHAI
this is a viral social media trend recipe, but it was worth trying! This one is for all the chai lovers. It is a quick and easy version of our regular chai but it tastes fab! The dry roasted tea gives out an amazing smoky aroma along with the caramelized sugar which gives out a roasted sweet flavour! It is for everyone who loves their tea strong! INGREDIENTS
- 1 ½ cup milk
- 2 tbsp tea powder
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp Crushed Ginger
- 2 cardamom pods
METHOD
- In a pan dry roast tea powder and sugar on a medium flame.
- Add in ginger, cardamom pods and mix well.
- Keep stirring until the sugar starts caramelizing and you get an aroma.
- Add in the milk and let it boil.
- Sieve and serve hot.
