These mushrooms make a great breakfast. Mushrooms have many health benefits. This recipe is a favourite of mine.

Serves – 2 to 3

TASTY MUSHROOMS Recipe|Renu dalal


  • 2 cups boiled and chopped mushrooms 
  • 2 tsp olive oil 
  • ½ tsp green chiiiles 
  • 4 tbsp chopped onions 
  • Salt to taste 
  • 4  tbsp chopped tomatoes 
  • ½  Tsp Oregano  
  • A drop of Tabasco 
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Parsley


  1. In a vessel , heat oil ,add oregano and onions and saute for 15 seconds.
  2. Add in tomatoes and green chillies, mix well.
  3. Add in the boiled mushrooms and parsley and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Add a drop of tobasaco and stir well
  5. Serve hot with slices of toast
