THECHA PAV

This is yet another great masala pav recipe. So very different then a normal masala pav. Who doesn`t love thecha. Thecha is a spicy condiment prepared in Maharashtra. It`s everyone`s favourite and rightly so. The primary ingredients are green chillies, peanuts and garlic tempered in oil with salt. So in this thecha Pav recipe the pav is tempered and roasted in the thecha and topped up with cheese.Taste so good, similar to a chilli cheese pav. THECHA PAV Recipe|Renu dalal

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Pav
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp Thecha chutney
  • 2 tbsp Grated cheese

METHOD

  1. Melt butter on a tawa and sauté thecha for 30 seconds.
  2. Slit the pav halfway, cook and roast in the thecha butter.
  3. Flip and cook on both the sides.
  4. Add some grated cheese on one side, fold the pav and serve hot.
