It is very healthy and tasty too. Til also known as Sesame Seeds are very healthy and nutritious. These ladoos are made from jaggery and hence gives that caramel flavor with roasted peanuts which makes it all the more crunchier. Do try it and let us know how you like it. Store in a jar and eat at your convenience.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup sesame seeds
  • ½ cup roasted peanuts
  • ½ tbsp ghee
  • ½ tsp cardamon powder
  • ½ cup jaggery (gur)

METHOD

For the sesame seeds

  1. In a non-stick pan roast the sesame seeds for 8 to 9 minutes.

For the peanuts

  1. Remove the skin of the peanuts and break them into small pieces.

How to proceed

  1. Heat the ghee in a vessel, add the jaggery, mix well for 3 to 4 minutes.
  2. Add the sesame seeds, peanuts, cardamom powder. Mix well for one minute.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased plate and allow to cool for 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Wet your hands with water, form small rounds with the mixture.
  5. Allow the ladoo to cool and store in an airtight container.
