What is Sattu Powder?
Sattu is a high-protein flour made from whole roasted chana (Bengal gram). Used for centuries across Bihar, Jharkhand, Punjab, and UP as a natural energy food. Unlike besan (made from raw chana dal), sattu uses roasted whole chana giving it a nuttier flavour and higher fibre content.
